Anniversary
Today is the anniversary of the kidney transplant. So much has happened since then. Darion has been in good health since and things have been so different. Initially, we were so grateful that he was healthy and sharing our wonderful testimony. However, soon after, we started to miss it and lose sight of what had taken place. We took a lot for granted and started wasting time with stupid and small things. If the lesson of Darion's illness and what we went through was not lesson enough, I'm not sure what is. We have got it together now, but as a reminder, don't lose sight of what really matters and those who really matter. We can get caught up in ourselves so much that we can miss it! Today love others, appreciate your health and be a blessing to someone. Our story might uplift you today. Peace and blessings.

I can understand how easy it is to take things and people for granted. We get so caught up in the stresses of life, the world, and the smallest things that we lose sight of what and who is important. Life is a hard road, full of ups and downs, sometimes more downs than ups, so it seems. But its when we really take time to slow down and listen to what God is saying, and see what God is doing that we really appreciate the blessings he has given us. It really sounds like you love your husband. He is extremely blessed to have someone like you. At times it may not be easy and it may not seem like he appreciates you, but I'm sure he does. Be patient in all things. Use wisdom in all things. Seek God in all things and let his love lead and guide your heart. Love and marriage is a beautiful, sacred thing, so hold on through the good and the bad, and reap the benefits of our awesome God if you continue to submit to his will and not your own. Stay strong sister, and be assured that God loves you both. Congratulations on such a wonderful example of a true love story. You are an inspiration! God bless
